Why do dark shirts cost more? . . .

Dark shirts often require a base be printed underneath to give the ink color opacity. It is basically an extra color and set up. Without it, red ink on a black shirt will be very dull and almost brownish. With a white underbase, the red ink color is true.

What is the most bang for the buck for a bunch of shirts? . . .

White tees, 1 color dark ink.

What is your minimum for screen printing? . . .

Two dozen. If significantly less, you may want to look to embroidery, which can often be a cheaper alternative to get your logo on just a few pieces, or on a variety of items.

What are you lead times? . . .

Officially it is 7-10 days after artwork approvals, and a 50% deposit has been collected. Realistically, t-shirts deadlines creep up on people, and we help them out when whenever we are able.

Can I bring my own garments in for printing? . . .

We’d rather you not. Sometimes shirts get damaged and seamlessly replaced in the printing process. It is not seamless, if we are having to hunt you down for extras.

What is Dye Migration or “bleed”? . . .

Many 100% polyester and pigment dyed shirts suffer an anomaly where the white ink becomes pink on a red shirt. We have the technology, inks, and experience to avert these problems as much as possible. Sometime the dye just gets the best of us-depending on how much dye was used in the dying process.

“We need like 4000 shirts. Can y’all handle that”? . . .

Yeah, in about 6 hours.

What variables effect pricing? . . .

Quantity of shirts, style of shirt, number of print locations, number of colors per print location, & artwork.

What File Format Does My Artwork Need To Be In? . . .
